Mølstertunet

Voss Folk Museum was founded in 1917. The museum's first task was to buy a courtyard at Mølster, which today is one of three authentic courtyards owned and preserved by the museum. In these three courtyards, all the buildings are still located exactly where they were when people lived there. At Mølster farm, which can easily be seen on the hillside above Vossevangen, there is a newer museum building, where permanent and temporary exhibitions give the visitor greater knowledge of the local culture. There is also a museum shop, and in the summer they usually have chickens and sheep on the farm. It is possible to reach the museum on foot or by car.

Tvindefossen

Tvindefossen is the 98th highest waterfall in Norway calculated on the basis of total fall. The waterfall is located by Tvinde in Voss municipality, 12 km. north of Voss center just off the E-16. The waterfall is a famous tourist attraction. The waterfall has a total fall of 110 meters where the longest fall is 85 meters. The water from Tvindefossen comes from Kroelva and flows into Strandaelva. In the late 1990s, the lake in Tvindefossen also created a reputation for rejuvenation and revival of sexual strength which made it one of the most important natural tourist attractions in Western Norway, with as many as 200,000 people a year from the USA, Japan and Russia. visits and fills containers with water. Skjervefossen

Skjervefossen is a waterfall in Granvin municipality in Hordaland. It is located by Skjervet, approximately halfway between Granvin and Voss. Highway 13 passes on the ledge between the upper and lower falls of the waterfall. R13 is one of Norway's most important tourist roads. The waterfall is 15 kilometers from the center of Voss, but be sure to take the old road and not the tunnel! Skjervefossen is a twin waterfall in the river Storelvi with a total height of 125 meters. The upper part is the most impressive with a vertical drop of 60 meters.

Bordalsgjelet (Valley Gorge)

Bordalsgjelet is a spectacular nature attraction within walking distance of the center. The deep and dramatic Bordalsgjelet is adapted for the audience with, viewpoint and benches. When there is no snow and ice, there is also an adapted path you can follow into the gorge. Here you get a good view of the fantastic potholes that ice and the river have shaped over the millennium, but remember, for your own safety: Stick to the marked paths.

Stalheimskleivi

With a length of 1.7 km and a degree increase of 20%, Stalheimskleivi is one of the steepest roads in Northern Europe. This road is located 35 km north of Voss. It has 13 hairpin turns and was built in 1842 -1846. this road is very exciting. Experience the fantastic view of the UNESCO World Heritage List listed Nærøydalen. There are many good photo opportunities. Do not forget the camera with lots of film / memory, fully charged battery and an empty memory card! Stalheimskleivi road ascends a ridge between two cascading waterfalls that can both be seen from the road. In the north you can see Sivlefossen, which has a drop of around 140 meters. To the south is Stalheimsfossen with a drop of 126 meters. From 2021 the government have closed the road for all traffic because of the condition of the base the road was built on. But it's open for walking or bicycles.
